I got to see how some of Decathlon's cycles are manufactured at a bikes factory in Ludhiana and shoot the above photo of the Riverside 500 Hybrid Cycle. The Triban RC100 Road Bike has a new price of Rs 24,999, down from Rs 29,999. This is one of Decathlon's entry level road bikes, a category I am a bit biased towards as I myself ride the Triban Gravel 120,. Having ridden my way up from a BMX followed by a Hybrid Bike, it's hard for me to prefer anything other than my road/gravel bike.
These Triban bikes like to move. The aerodynamic nature of these road bikes make it easier to accelerate and keep a comparatively faster pace going. As it has 700x32c tyres, you get a comfortable ride with the tyres helping to absorb bumps and gravel.
The Triban RC100 Road Bike comes with a single chainring drivetrain with 1x7 gears. It weighs 11.3 kg in size M without pedals.
