The Rhododendron forest from Bekaltal to Tilandi

Brahmatal is known for its enthralling forest treks. You will be able to wander through centuries-old oak and rhododendron woodlands. The devoted area of Rhododendrons, in particular, has stayed with me! A strongly defined stretch of Rhododendron woods may be found just outside of Bekaltal. The Rhododendron woodlands are a visual delight. The trunks twist and turn in various shapes. Typically, the trunks are naked and smooth wooded. The trees aren't particularly tall, but they do make a wonderful canopy at the top. They're close enough together to provide an ideal green roof above your head. This is what you see all year long. If you visit between March and April, you will be greeted with a pink flowering roof. If you visit during the winter, you can treat your eyes to a beautiful snowy carpet!

The Brahmatal Lake

Both the campground and the lake in Brahmatal are unique. The campground is exposed at one end of the ridge, with tiers of mountains tumbling down to meet the smaller cities below. From here, you can see for about 25 kilometres. The hues of the sun just brighten up the sky at dusk when facing the western horizon. The walk goes around Brahmatal, which is not as large as a lake. It's also not on the trail. You must see the lake, which is situated in the centre of an undulating field. The lake is like a crystal pure blue sanctuary in the centre of a large field. With nothing else in sight, the clean, reflecting lake is the ideal setting for you to enter your own reflection zone. The experience at Brahmatal is more about gazing inwardly than it is about looking forth.
