When you are looking to buy a new ball for football, you will notice that there is a huge variation to choose from. It’s not a recommended practice to jump to a conclusive decision based on the price. A footballer should choose a ball depending on the discipline: 11-a-side, 5-a-side or leisure.

11 – A SIDE BALLS

Balls from our 11-a-side range are designed for playing regulation football. The ball must be spherical with a circumference ranging between 68 and 70cm and the mass ranging between 420 and 445g. It can either be machine-sewn (+), hand-sewn (++) or heat-bonded (+++).

The ball is generally designed for play on a natural or synthetic grass surface. These balls should not be used on abrasive surfaces.

These balls are available in different sizes which are the following:

Size 5 for U19s and U15s.
– Size 4 for U13s, U11s and U9s.
– Size 3 for beginners, U7s.

5 – A SIDE BALLS

Balls from our 5-a-side football range are designed for futsal or indoor football.
Futsal balls are generally made of synthetic material (PU or TPU). They are smaller than traditional footballs as their size is between 62 and 64 centimetres in circumference.

Futsal balls are specifically designed to have reduced bounce, allowing a technical game based more at the ground level.

An indoor football ball is made of synthetic material (PU or TPU). It is of the same size of a traditional football, or maybe a little smaller. Its bounce is somewhere between a traditional football and a futsal football.

NOTE: For optimum play, inflate the ball to the pressure indicated on its surface.

Footballs from our leisure range are designed for playing football with friends on all kinds of surfaces.

Leisure footballs are made of a different material depending on the playing surface: grass, sand, tarmac or shale.

NOTE: For optimum play, inflate the ball to the pressure indicated on its surface.
